he World of FMA Seminar: June 7th & 8th 2008 Thisseminar features training from four of the leading FMA practitioners inthe world: Professor Max Pallen from Senkotiros, Grandmaster FredBandalan from Bandalan Eskrima, Grandmaster Vincent Cabales from CabalesSerrada Eskrima and Dr. Remy Presas from MARPPIO Modern Arnis. Eachmaster will present Filipino martial art techniques that are central totheir style. Students who attend this seminar will experience truediversity and come away with a profound sense of the power, grace andpracticality of this martial art. All levels of experience arewelcome. FMA practitioners with advanced rankings may find thisseminar particularly useful in terms of adding new dimensionality totheir skill set. Martial artists fromnon-FMA martial arts are encouraged to attend to see for themselves ifthese systems may work to supplement their own fighting styles. Nospecial gear is necessary except for one pair of rattan sticks (kali,escrima or arnis sticks) that you will use throughout the day. Comfortable, loose fitting gym clothing or your own school uniform issufficient work out apparel. Mat footwear (wrestling shoes, karate orkung fu shoes) is recommended but not necessary. Registration for the day begins at 9am and each session will last for approximately 120 mins each. Cost of seminar is as follows: $65 for one day only; $120 for two days package deal. |
